This country plantation style residence sits on a 4-acre lot on the border of Ascension and East Baton Rouge Parishes. The property most noticeably features 9 stately live oaks, each named for the fruits of the Holy Spirit.The landscape design mimics historic plantings around plantation homes that have evolved through the generations, leaving a mix of the hardiest species and a variety of lush, colorful accents.Material choices such as pecky cypress cabinets and bronze vent hoods as well as design details like custom bent gate latches and welded solid steel picket fences portray that this new home will feel as timeless as the historic homes it emulates.

Every aspect of the home and landscape was designed to embrace the courtyards and outdoor landscape. Verandas and balconies throughout the home provide views and access from each room into these outdoor retreat spaces along with large wall windows and open air walkways.
